Visit from Japenese Professor of Middle Eastern Studies

A few weeks ago, some members of our community had the pleasure of hosting Professor Hidemitsu Kuroki from the Japan Centre for Middle Eastern Studies.  Hidemitsu regularly comutes between Tokyo and Beirut to promote academic exchanges between scholars from Japan and the Middle East, primarily Lebanon.  He was introduced to us by our own Professor Bill Harris.  

Hidemitsu intends coming back to Dunedin some time this year. We will then arrange an evening and invite members of our community along.
