The Dunedin Lebanese Community Matriarch Passes Peacefully

It was only 17 days ago that we were proud to post the news that the matriarch of our community, Alma Betro, turned 100 years of age.  It is with great sadness that we now advise Alma passed away peacefully in the company of her son Denis, literally with a smile on her face, at 1:30pm Sunday 9th October.  Alma was a much loved and revered member of our community who will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
