AGM - President's Report

Greetings Folks,

Last night we held our 2014 AGM at the Dunedin Club.  Thank you to those who made it, it was great to see you all. 

A special thanks to Prof. Bill Harris for giving us an update on the Syrian situation.  We were very saddened to hear so many families have been displaced and their ongoing struggle remains.  Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Syrian people leaving everything behind to flee to safety, for those who have lost loved ones, for lives interrupted, educations stalled and families separated.  We pray for peace and justice to prevail, for there to be new beginnings for all people living in that land.  May freedom replace fear and for there to be a better tomorrow.  God Bless these people.
